- The PTA Children’s Clothes Closet
Sacramento Council partners with SCUSD to supply clothing and shoes to over 1,000 of our Sacramento City Unified School District students. PTA Children’s Clothes Closet is available to any SCUSD Student by referral from their school of attendance.
- Schools, Family and Community Partnerships Leadership Academy
A leadership development program offered by SCUSD in partnership with PTA for parents and community members who want to acquire leadership skills for effective school change and improvement.
- PTA Reflections Art Recognition Program
The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. The Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme, while increasing community awareness on the importance of the arts in education.
- Outstanding Eight-Grader Awards
PTA honors one student from each school with 8th grade for their outstanding academics, contribution to the school and community and outstanding citizenship.
- PTA's Honorary Service Award
PTA honors deserving volunteer/community members by presenting them with the Honorary Service Award or Continuing Service Award.
- Special Administrator's Award
The PTA Special Administrator's Award was established in 1984 by the Sacramento Council of PTAs for the purpose of recognizing outstanding service by an administrator to her/his own school community and the community at large.
